Sketch book final design
This is my design for the sketch book and the finally outcome. We used woodblock printing to create the skecth books as you can print mulitpel times and reproduce work quickly also its is a more of an orgainic porcess.
Here are some of the initail skecthes and components of the sketch book design.
And here is the final illustrator image what i then took to the 3d workshop to get lazer engraved into wood so i could use it for printing.
Screen Print Design
Hi this is my design for a screen-print that we will print onto to high quality paper using the silk screen printing method to give even and flat colour look.
Also i have included some of my sketches and traces that help me to produce my final image.

Bird Development

Again, messing about in Illustrator with colours and vectors.
I think it would be better to use neutral colours but the darker image was an attempt to show how the bird could possibly look as a wooden piece.

Owl Development

Following on from the initial sketches I imported them into Photoshop and began to play around with the colour. The black and white raw effect appeared too harsh for the outcome we are looking for.
Originally I was using Photoshop, however, then I used a live trace in Illustrator to produce the two more neutral images. I think these were more successful.
Design Doodle Sketches

These are a few initial sketch/doodle ideas for the graphics which may be used on the cards and gift wrap. I'm aiming to have at least 5 card designs to be produced using printing techniques. These designs would also look effective if they were to be hand printed.
