Underprivileged Children Given Hope by YSP.New Friendship Scheme set to benefit the park, local schools, and you!
Our new concept is a friendship scheme that just keeps giving. When thinking of a ‘friendship scheme’, most people would assume this is just a mutually beneficial membership between an organisation and the public. But our new plan goes one step further! You’ve both had a busy week at work, and want to get away from the rush and stress of modern day life. A trip to the Yorkshire Sculpture Park will offer you a tranquil setting to walk, talk, and appreciate nature and art.Sadly, some people may never have the chance to experience such a wonderful environment. Across the nation, there are struggling schools. The children are not given the opportunities they deserve. Their courses are often underfunded, and spending is limited to ‘the necessities’- arts are left as an afterthought. This new friendship scheme aims to help resolve these issues. A percentage of the proceeds from the exclusive gift shop items will go towards: funding for transport for visits to the park, and covers costs of events.By becoming a friend of the Yorkshire Sculpture Park, members will benefit from discounts, access to exclusive products, and a beautiful park – the perfect place to get away from the rush of the real world, and be surrounded by art and nature. In addition to this, neighbourhood children will be better educated, cultured, and more respectful. You are bringing a brighter future to the local areas, while knowing you are helping the park, plus making a real difference to the children’s lives.Annual membership prices start at only £15.
